viewing restricted videos

Why do the videos I click on say they are restricted and must be approved to view?

So, just adding a ?clean=1 to the end of the safeshare.tv url makes it work? Amazing.

It worked, so thank you very much.

Yes, temporarily you will need to append "?clean=1" to the end of SafeShare URL. We intend to make this work automatically soon.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

We are getting the same thing in our school district.

We have forced Restriced Mode ON via our DNS router per Google's instructions. The video above is Restricted for some reason (not sure why).

Hi Bryan,

What happens if you use this URL: https://safeshare.tv/x/tvwTZF5nz-o?clean=1 ?

No!  It says this video is restricted and must be approved to view.  That's what I've been telling you all along.

Mary,

We are really unsure as of why this might be happening. It doesn't seem a problem on SafeShare's end. Would you please ask your son to check it and send me a screenshot to diogo@vitzo.com ? I would really appreciate that.

Thank you.

Please click on this link: https://safeshare.tv/w/FEDEwZHZXu . Are you able to watch the video using this link?

Here's the thing.  I am an older person with an older computer that was set up for me by my son so I can have email and Facebook.  I know NOTHING about computers.  Just starting this week, I have not been able to access videos shared with me, either by email or Facebook, because they are restricted.  I assume it's because of this new safe share.  I don't know how to send a screenshot, I don't know what a Url is, I just want to know how to access the videos.

I'm sorry Mary.

In that "restricted" page that you're getting, can you please tell me what kind of page is this? Does it say anything else besides "restricted" and "must be approved to view"?

I am asking you these questions because it is the first time we're faced with such issue, so I'm just trying to understand where does this message come from exactly.

I'm not sure what that is, but one of the videos is Youtube Lost in the fifties another time another place

Hi Mary,

Maybe this one: https://safeshare.tv/w/FEDEwZHZXu ?

It works fine here. Can you please send a screenshot of the issue?

Dear Mary,

Can you please give me an example URL of such videos?

Best Regards,

Diogo Alves @ SafeShare
