School tablet problems

So, I've been using safeshare on my school tablet for some time now, but just today it stopped working. When I first heard about it from other students, I tried it, but it would never work. The same "blocked by school district page would pop up in the video box as did when I clicked the link directly to YouTube. But then one day I saw my friend using it, and I asked how. He said he just clicked the private button-however later when I accidentally forgot to click that button, it still worked fine, so that probably wasn't all that relevant-so I tried it, and it worked! Until now. Currently, the box where the video is usually displayed always says blocked, even though your page isn't, obviously. If anyone has any idea how to fix it, please help! Thanks!

Hi Reagan,

We are very sorry, but unfortunately we had to change a few things due to YouTube.

However there's an easy fix for this (which unfortunately has to be done manually). If you append "?clean=1" to the end of a SafeShare.TV URL, it will work.

For example:

https://safeshare.tv/x/ss580b9b63db925

becomes:

https://safeshare.tv/x/ss580b9b63db925?clean=1

What it does is that it replaces the YouTube player by a clean one (no ads, no related videos, no YouTube logo, just the video).

Can you please give that a try in one of your SafeViews and let me know?

P.S.: THIS IS JUST TEMPORARY.

Best Regards,
