How do you crop videos and save them?

This is happening to me as well...I am trying to use this with preschoolers, and it is pointless if I cannot crop out extra material.  I was able to do this before thanksgiving break and now it plays the entire video regardless of what I select.

This problem is happening to me. too.  I placed stating points for several videos. but when they play, they play from the original beginning.  I have used this feature with success before. Must be a glitch... Cam you help?  Thanks!

Same thing keeps happening to me. When are you gonna solve this critical problem? Otherwise there is no point using Safeshare.

I'm having same problem.  It does not play cropped saved view.  It plays whole thing.

I am having the same problem Yesterday it allowed us to chop the videos and now it just reverts back and plays the whole video again. Can you please let me know what is the problem or how to fix it.

Thanks you

Holly

Hi Holly,

Can you please send me the URL of the specific SafeView you've created?

Happening to me again too :(

Dear Ann Widlacki,

We have successfully fixed this issue. Can you please confirm?

It created the cropped video and then when I go to play it now it has once again reverted back to uncropped video.  Same thing with the other video I cropped for my classroom.  I thought it was fixed and now we're back to square 1.

I think this is the coolest feature ever, but it is not working. I cropped a video at the beginning and end but when it generates in safeshare it just plays the entire video.

But the dim lights feature is fixed! Thanks. ;-)

Dear Ann Widlacki,

You can do that by pasting a YouTube or Vimeo video URL and clicking "Generate Safe Link" button. Then, you can crop the video as per your preference, and save it as a Safe view.

That's what I thought but when it opens in Safe View it reverts back to the original video and plays it all.
